This wedding cake I made last weekend was a nice change of pace - very simple, yet very pretty! The cake was all buttercream with a piped floral design.
The wedding was at a rustic-inspired reception hall, so the design worked perfectly! All three tiers were white almond cake soaked with Grand Marnier syrup and filled with alternating layers of White Chocolate buttercream and Raspberry jam.
I also made a miniature cake to serve the vegan guests at the wedding. It was almond cake and raspberry buttercream.
